The core wire of Electrolumescent Wire is a silver-plated copper wire. It works as a pole. This core wire is coated with a dielectric layer, and a phosphor layer coated on the dielectric layer. On the phosphor layer is a conductive layer that's coated on. Two very thin wires are spirally wound around the conductive layer, as they work as the opposite pole.
