Sydney Wallace's 19 points powered Georgia Tech's best offensive performance of the season and the Yellow Jackets (8-6, 1-2 ACC) earned their first Atlantic Coast Conference win of the season with an 81-59 victory over the Clemson Lady Tigers (4-10,Castelli Cycling 0-3 ACC) Sunday afternoon at Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.RadioShack CyclingC.

Tech finished the day with season-highs of 81 points, 53.7 percent shooting and eight 3-pointers. It was also the most points and the best shooting percentage by a Clemson opponent this year.

Wallace's 19 points were a season-high and junior Tyaunna Marshall tossed in 11 for the Jackets. Tech's depth proved key against the Lady Tigers, who only list eight players. The Yellow Jacket reserves finished with 44 points to only eight for Clemson's bench players.

"I was really impressed with how we came out offensively and defensively, the way we shared the ball," head coach MaChelle Joseph said. "Even though we only had two players in double figures, we had several players score and make contributions on the offensive end. I thought our defense, for the most part, christian louboutin boots holding an ACC team on the road to less than 60 points, any time you do that you feel like you've done a good job defensively.

"When Sydney Wallace is scoring, we're a different team. We proved that last year," Joseph added. "This is about the time she turned it on last year. I haven't really been playing Frida Fogdemark, but she gives us another scoring option at the four position. We can put three 3-point shooters on the floor and Clemson had to come out of their zone, which is what they love to play."

Georgia Tech's first-half offense ran like a well-oiled machine for the second straight game. After a back-and-forth opening eight-plus minutes in which there were four ties and three lead changes,Garmin Cycling Fogdemark made a 3-pointer from the corner that sparked an 8-0 Tech run and gave the Jackets a 22-14 lead with 8:44 to play in the first half.

The Yellow Jackets shot 55.6 percent from the field in the first half and made 6-of-10 3-point attempts, including two each by Wallace and Fogdemark. It was the most points Clemson has allowed in the first half this season and the highest shooting percentage by a Lady Tiger opponent in a half this season.

Tech's six 3-pointers tied as many as the Yellow Jackets had made in any game this year.

Another Wallace 3-pointer extended Tech's lead to 12, 53-41, at the 14:08 mark of the second half. After Clemson's Quinyotta Pettaway cut it back to 10 with a layup, the Jackets reeled off 11 straight points to take a 64-43 lead with 11:04 to play.

The Jackets held the Lady Tigers without a field goal for better than five minutes midway through the second half and built an 18-point lead with eight minutes left in the game.Specialized Cycling

Carole Gurdak remembers flying at a time when flight attendants had height and weight restrictions, when airlines served gourmet meals, moncler jackets men and airplanes were a glamorous and luxurious way to travel.

In her nearly 40 years as a flight attendant at United Airlines,Garmin Cycling she observed many changes to the flight attendant's job and to the air travel industry. One of the most visible changes was the way flight attendant uniforms evolved from year to year.

Although she's been retired since 2003, Gurdak maintains her connection to United by volunteering with the United Airlines Historical Foundation, and works with a group of women to organize and archive flight attendant uniforms from the past decades.

“The part we do is a small part of the big picture,” she said. “We decided to donate our time to all of the uniforms (United has) acquired in the past 10 years and send them to museums across the United States.”

They work in the basement of United Airlines' old main headquarters in Elk Grove Village. It's the same facility where she received her flight attendant training in 1964.

As the daughter of a pilot, Gurdak said she always had a passion for flying.Castelli Cycling She grew up in Long Island and, when she was 19 years old, went to get a summer job at Kennedy Airport. She came out with a flight attendant application.

“I was 19-years old, I didn't know what I was getting myself into,” she said.

Gurdak got married in 1968, right around the time airlines began allowing their flight attendants to be married. Gurdak's first daughter was born in 1970 and throughout her career she managed to juggle being a mom and a professional.

Once her kids were grown, she took on an international flight schedule and traveled the world from 1990 until she retired in 2003.

Now Gurdak volunteers with a group of about five or six women organizing United's supply of old uniforms.

“We have such a passion for the uniforms,” she said. “We don't want anything to happen to them. Uniforms reflect what's going on in the world.”

Flipping through pictures of old uniforms, she points out different fashion trends. The skirts got shorter from the 60s to the 70s and hat, purse and jacket styles changed. The uniforms from the 80s have bold patterns and bright colors, and in the 90s pants were introduced.

Last winter, the Smithsonian contacted Gurdak and the women with whom she works, asking for United Airlines fight attendant uniforms from the 1960s. Since they couldn't find any in the archives, Gurdak sent her own.

“I still had my 1960s uniforms here, and it was 1960s they wanted,” she said.RadioShack CyclingSpecialized Cycling “I said, ‘How about I donate mine?'”

In the past year, Gurdak has overseen her old uniforms get carefully packaged and shipped to Washington, D.C. Eventually, she said she'd like to go see the exhibit that uses them.

Other museums like Flight Path in Los Angeles, San Francisco International Airport's museum and the National Museum of Commercial Aviation in Atlanta have received United's old uniforms.

Despite being retired nearly 10 years, Gurdak speaks fondly of her flying experiences and the women with whom she worked.

“We were doctors, we were nurses, we solved all the problems of childhood,” she said. “We talked about our children and our husbands. It was a group of women exchanging ideas. We had this common bond, you knew you could say something personal because they understood, too.”

A SERIAL rapist who was jailed after dragging a teenage girl from a Leeds bus stop by her hair has walked out of an open prison –sparking a nationwide search and a warning from the police.

Sean Cawthray, 41, was given a life sentence at Leeds Crown Court in December 2002 after the incident in Kippax and had also been in prison twice previously for rape offences.

Cawthray's 14-year-old victim was only saved after a seven-year-old boy heard her muffled cries for help and called for his grandfather who then intervened, leaving Cawthray to run off.

He was found after a police search of the area, and later sentenced to an indeterminate sentence because of the risk he posed to young women after admitting attempted kidnap.

Until December 30, when he escaped, Cawthray had been an inmate at Leyhill Open Prison, north of Bristol, and officers from Avon and Somerset Police are now leading the search for him.

Last night they said he may have travelled back to Yorkshire and warned the public not to approach him but to dial 999.moncler jackets men

DI Jill Kells said: “We are committed to locating, returning to custody and charging anyone unlawfully at large.Castelli Cycling Officers work closely with HMP Leyhill and other police forces to track down absconders promptly and keep any potential risk to the public to a minimum.”

Cawthray is described as white, 5ft 9in to 5ft 11in tall, of medium build with short brown hair and blue eyes.

When he was last seen he was wearing a pair of silver coloured training shoes, cream coloured combat trousers and a light blue coloured top.

He may have been wearing either a worker's fluorescent jacket, grey jacket with orange patches or black jacket with a blue patch.

A Prison Service spokesman said: “A prisoner at Leyhill open prison absconded on 30 December and this is now a matter for the police.

“The number of absconds from open prisons is at a record low. Those who do abscond will be returned to a more secure prison and may face further charges.”

Policing teams have increased their patrols in the area after the terrifying incidents happened on October 13, November 17 and two on December 8.

The young attacker has been described as white, very thin, with short brown hair, aged between 12 and 20-years-old.

He was wearing jeans, a black jacket and a shoulder bag.Specialized Cycling

Police believe he is local to the area or has a reason to be there on a Saturday evening.

The chairman of a local residents' group has said the crimes will ‘rock the community'.

Steven Skinner,Garmin Cycling chairman of Little London's Tenants and Residents Association, said: “Residents will be so shocked to hear this has been going on.

“This has been happening in the heart of the community.RadioShack Cycling

“It is worrying. Some people are nervous about walking on their own and the confidence of anyone wishing to walk outside on a night will be shaken.”

Mr Skinner, who has lived in the area for almost 20 years, said he plans to campaign for better lighting to help residents feel safer and will raise the issue at a group meeting on January 15.

Sensible shoes
Flat smoking slippers in velvet or satin and wedge sneakers with studs and straps overtook sky-high platforms in the fashionable footwear race.

Artful nails
Whether it was tiny Union Jacks, tuxedos, stripes, crystal flowers or caviar pearls, nail art went from the subculture sidelines to becoming an everyday indulgence, and not just for flamboyant pop stars like Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga. The boom was due in part to nail technology advances, including new, easy-to-apply nail decals and gel-color manicures, which allow for long-lasting decoration, including gradated glitter and stripes, as well as crystal and charm appliques.

Crop tops
When Gwyneth Paltrow exposed her tanned tummy in a two-piece Emilio Pucci ensemble at the Emmys in September 2011, she was on to something. The midriff-baring trend, borrowed from the 1980s, has been gaining steam all year, with Hollywood's resident exhibitionists (Nicki Minaj, Rihanna,2012 Garmin Cycling Components. Miley Cyrus) racing to uncover. Crop tops were all over the fashion runways in September and October, seen at Balmain, Balenciaga and elsewhere, so don't expect this trend to go away anytime soon.

Barely there
Hollywood stars also played peekaboo by wearing gowns with sheer panels and cutouts,Where To Buy Canada Goose Online, our moncler jackets men Offer Canada Goose Coacts with Lowest Price. none more so than Kristen Stewart, who turned heads at the L.A. premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" in a sheer corseted Zuhair Murad gown and wore several more nearly nude looks while promoting the film in the following weeks. The sheer trend has translated to the street in more subtle forms, among them sheer chiffon shirts and sleeves.

Neon
The year was so bright, you had to wear shades. Hot-hued jeans, Cambridge Satchel bags and nail polish were among the most popular traffic-stopping items.

Prints charming

Creature features

Crew and Tory Burch. We're still waiting for a sweater featuring Karl Lagerfeld's beloved cat Choupette — who garnered many fashion headlines this year with her adorable antics and pampered lifestyle.

Leather and lace
Naughty and nice, leather and lace were both big trends, even better when worn together. We shopped for leather motorcycle jackets and pants, which were available everywhere from Proenza Schouler to Forever 21, and lacy T-shirts, sweat shirts, blouses and tops. It was all about mixing hard and soft.

Tomboy chic
Lizzie Garrett Mettler's "Tomboy Style" book, which came out in April, documented 80 years of women who blurred the gender lines. It was perfect timing, with designers showing gender-bending styles on the runways for fall, fictional action heroines like Lisbeth Salander and Katniss Everdeen hitting the big screen, and women borrowing style from the boys, including lace-up oxford shoes, tuxedos and fedoras.

Facial fuzz
From the malls to the multiplex, it was a banner year for the beard and mustache bunch and the companies that cater to them. Men's grooming became one of the fastest-growing segments in the beauty business. Gillette launched a grooming gadget called the Fusion ProGlide Styler and enlisted a trio of celebrities — André 3000 Benjamin, Gael García Bernal and Adrien Brody — as pitchmen. Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln" served up more chin whiskers than that of all the previous year's movies combined.

Creeping Ivy
Preppy's progenitor — Ivy League style — crept back into American men's wardrobes this year. It was found on the runway, where J. Press showcased a new back-to-the-Ivy-roots York Street capsule collection designed by Ariel and Shimon Ovadia. And it was featured in books and museum exhibitions, specifically the Museum at FIT's "Ivy Style" exhibition in New York City.

MANY years ago I had the surreal experience of waking up and hearing one of my dearest friends being interviewed on the radio.

After being told he had won an award at a ceremony the night prior, I heard my old pal Mark Patrick ask excitedly, ''Do I get a prize?''

''Er, no,'' came the reply from the female announcer. ''You won an Ernie Award for the sexist comment you made that women over the age of 35 shouldn't go sleeveless.''

''Oh,'' Mark replied dejectedly. ''I don't understand what's sexist about that. It's true. Are you sure there's no prize?''

Lying in bed hearing this mess I both laughed and groaned simultaneously. You see, Mark really didn't think his comment was offensive. I know him well enough to realise he meant it as a community service of sorts.

As someone with long history in fashion, design and public relations, as well as a having an innate and enviable sense of style, he believed he was simply imparting a well-known fact.

Once he was off-air I rang Mark, only to hear my friend still crestfallen. ''Good dress sense isn't about sexism,'' he told me. ''It's about making the most of your strengths and knowing how to disguise your weaknesses.

''It's the same as saying men with bad legs shouldn't wear shorts or that hairy-backed types and men over a certain age must never wear singlets as outerwear,'' he continued. ''It's just modesty, manners and respect. I am just honest enough to tell women what their best girlfriends should, but don't.''

The reason I am recalling this story now is that in the past few weeks I have been shopping with friends for New Year's Eve outfits. And despite being a diehard feminist who believes women should wear what they want, when they want - mutton be damned! - I have to admit I've bitten my tongue on several occasions when girlfriends have asked me ''what do you think, honestly?'' of their style choice.

I'm not sure there is a right answer to this question - it's like the male quandary when asked by a female partner, ''does my bum look big in this?'' So, in light of my New Year's resolution to be more honest, and based entirely on my personal aesthetic and sartorial ethos, here's what I would have said if I was as blunt as my friend Mark.

Thought about a cardigan? I don't like my upper arms. Yes, I'm eternally grateful to be able-bodied so please don't bother tweeting me to point out my good fortune. I just don't like the dimpled skin texture, the wobble, the way my bra forms fatty folds resembling breakfast snags under my arms. And so, since I turned 40, the sleeve, shrug, cardigan and wrap have become my constant friends.

So, to the friend who tried on a strapless gown for my judgment that gave her an extra shelf of breast, unsightly back flaps and bingo wings, when I said ''I personally love a princess neckline'', I meant that dress is not flattering. At all.

Tight ain't always right. All women should celebrate their shapes from Christina Hendricks' curves to Kate Moss' concaves. The trick is to buy clothes the right size. Squeezing into something too small means underwear lines, muffin tops, bra dimples and an inability to breathe. So, to my friend who refuses to accept she is no longer her teen dress size, just because you can still squeeze into a size 10, it doesn't mean you should wear one.2012 Garmin Cycling Components.Great discounts on our huge range of Specialized Cycling clothing - shorts, jerseys, jackets & more.

Don't over-egg the pud. Sequin dress, fine. Sequin dress and so much jewellery you've become a human wind chime is not. Pick one item to dazzle, not all, to avoid looking like a kooky kaleidoscope or a certain friend whose Christmas party outfit choice was so strobelight spangly it could induce an epileptic fit.

Leggings are not pants. Camel toes belong on dromedaries. All prada bags with high quality and best service, save 50% off, Free and fast delivery. And even then they are unsightly. If in doubt things are a bit snug around the rug, wear a long shirt. Or even better, a skirt.

Undies aren't always optional. Feel free. Be liberated. But if you are wearing a miniskirt, please still wear knickers. Yes, that means you at the recent party dancing Gangnam and flashing gyno.

Beware of wearing weapons. The new trend of studs may be fashion fierce, but they also can pierce. So, to my giddy friend at the party's end last week,Where To Buy Canada Goose Online, our moncler jackets men Offer Canada Goose Coacts with Lowest Price. helping you to a cab was my pleasure. Your studded handbag and jacket my pain. Such outfits should come with HAZMAT tape and a first aid kit.

Honestly, I could run a marathon in these heels. This, I am afraid, is a lie women tell often and rue daily. No, my friend who wears those ludicrous drag-queen-from-hell clumpy monstrosities gay designers are torturing women with of late, you can't run in them. You also can't walk in them. And when you attempt to, people overtaking you on the footpath are laughing. They think you are silly, not stylish. And I don't think their opinion would soften if they knew each pair cost you $1K-plus for your pain.Find RadioShack Cycling and running devices, heart rate monitors .

Wow, being this honest is liberating. Maybe it's time I point out those false eyelashes some women are sporting lately look like dead cockroach legs, or that fluoro colours should be seen on Guantanamo Bay inmates, witches hats and cyclists' jackets only.

Then again, that's because apparently I looked like a giant basketball when I wore a bright burnt orange dress recently. How do I know this? Why, I have friends as kindly as Mark to tell me.

When your family presides over a successful garment company in Indonesia that has been established since 1978 it is hardly surprising that you would possess an innate knack for fashion.

While lending a hand at his father’s factory Suraj Melwani experimented with the Luxe Pima cotton the house used for women’s night wear. This eventually saw rise to the inherently talented designer’s own sleek line of Luxe T-shirts for men.

Teaming up with like-minded Christopher J. Fussner,Is my authentic north face jackets truly ? who shares a similar sense of aesthetics, “sifr” was born. Giving in house expertise on the graphic direction, the two partners were then joined by Daryl Chan and together formed the distinctive contemporary menswear and lifestyle brand.

Being based in Singapore, the designers are constantly exposed to different cultures. This has encouraged them to explore ethnicity and fabric texture.

Using Pima cotton as inspiration and the foundation for their creations, the label initially started out by producing high quality, tailored T-shirts with Southeast Asia’s climate in mind. Following the garment’s well received success, the duo started to expand its concept to polo shirts.

Focusing on premium materials and solid construction, the brand has now evolved from simple garments into a full fledged line of menswear including footwear and accessories. It displays a very simple streamlined look with a quirky ethnic edge that maintains the emphasis on quality, comfort and value.

“We always strive to be in control of the whole design and manufacturing process. We try to maintain transparency to our community by familiarizing ourselves with the source of our materials and the production between each crafted creation,” said Suraj, a former graduate of Parsons The New School for Design.

The line has since been picked up by stockists around the world including Japan, the United States,Sofia Vergara wearing Christian louboutin high heel shoes. Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia. In Indonesia, sifr can be found at the Goods Dept,He is most popularly known for authentic Christian Louboutin Pumps, commonly referred to as "sammy red-bottoms." “At sifr’s extensions launch of our new Autumn Winter collection in Goods Dept we showed some of the T-shirts and scarves that we were doing. People really liked it,They just want an authentic moncler coats to be cool.” said Suraj, adding that they are also working on boxer shorts.

“It’s been really busy these past weeks running back and forth to my family’s factory, looking after the production. In between this and managing our sister label and other projects, sometimes I feel like I’m in danger of spreading myself too thin,” Suraj added with a laugh.

Prior to this extension, which now presents the brand with 43 styles, sifr has progressively introduced new pieces such as the Beanstalk T-shirt that slimmed down at the waist by one inch and extended in length by three inches.

The style is the result of continuous and transparent interaction with fans of the brand.

Inspired by the thunderstorms of the monsoon season and born from a process of reflecting upon their Southeast Asian roots, the new sifr Autumn Winter collection is appropriately named “Monsoon.”

Expect to see tailored jackets, trousers, cardigans, tribal patterned polo shirts, suede loafers and hoodies in different shades of muted color palates like brown, grey, blue and black.

“We realized that people are really looking for something that ages well and remains timeless. This has been our main motivation, to produce garments that will last a lifetime. We want people to be able to rely on us for these reasons. Our designs are constantly evolving and expanding but our mission remains.Professional authentic Louis Vuitton Shoes manufacturer online shop. We will keep innovating forever,” Suraj said.

I have always questioned the appropriateness of glitter until I found myself wanting to press the "buy now" button on many a high-end website this fall. It was the boots and shoes that first worked their glowing way into my heart.Sofia Vergara wearing Christian louboutin high heel shoes. What is going on? I thought. Me, metallic? Bronzy boots and oxidized oxfords?

Next thing I kneLooking for Christian Louboutin Women Shoes?w, I was ripping pages from magazines that featured a burnished metallic coin motif top, a loosely woven skirt infused with platinum leather wefts and warps, patterned suits with motifs highlighted in copper thread, a black and ivory sequined striped T-shirt, and more. Why glitter? Why now? Two possibilities: I am getting older and "going toward the light," or designers (at least the brilliant ones) are giving women some tasteful and flattering glitter iterations (glitterations!?).

In general, at any age, it is better to choose muted versions of this trend, such as champagne or platinum (the goldish-silver) metallic options versus the high shine of bright gold or silver.

Here is the thing: Unless you are dark-skinned or very tan, high shine can take the life out of your skin.
